Klay Thompson came off the bench for the fourth straight game and finished with 23 points, two rebounds and one assist while shooting 7/15 from the field and 5/13 from the three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.
After the game, two-time MVP Steph Curry met with the media and spoke highly of Thompson when he was asked about his longtime teammate.
The clip (via Warriors on NBCS) had nearly 4,000 likes in less than 17 hours.
Curry: “No matter if it’s a starting role, bench role, whatever it is. He’s still Klay Thompson, and he can come in and do exactly what he did tonight. I know he wanted to shoot better in the second half, but the more reps he gets, the more confidence he has to just go out there and just play basketball and don’t let the narratives kind of consume him; that’s when he’s at his best.”
