The NFL Draft is fast approaching and the Pittsburgh Steelers will have their hands full with big decisions over the coming weeks.
But prior to that, Pittsburgh will have to navigate free agency and decide who goes, who stays, and who’s coming in.
So before things get going in March, here is the round 3 pre-free agency draft target for Pittsburgh:
Steelers Round 3 Draft Target, Pre-Free Agency, Notre Dame CB Cam Hart
Notre Dame CB Cam Hart had an excellent week at the Senior Bowl, here’s how he profiles at the next level:

Hart fits the profile of what Pittsburgh is looking for in their corners, seeing that he is long, tall and physical, with the ability to play press coverage.
And with Porter Jr. as the only long-term answer, Hart would be the perfect addition as Pittsburgh looks to hold down the fort at corner for years to come.
Here is a blurb from my scouting report on Hart:
Hart is a long, physical corner who bodes well in a press quarters scheme thanks to his understanding of coverage concepts, and strong physical profile.
Teams will worry about his transitions and pure man coverage ability due to his lack of recovery speed and relative stiffness. -Cam Hart Draft Profile
So if Hart is there in the thrid round, I would bet Pittsburgh makes a move on him, even if it means trading up given the boxes Hart checks based on both pedigree and measurables.
