The Los Angeles Lakers could be getting some reinforcement on the court tonight as they are set to take on their hallway rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers.
Lakers forward Cam Reddish has been upgraded to probable, according to Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
Reddish was able to practice on Tuesday. It was reported before the update that he would be a game-time decision; however, the update to ‘probable’ is a great sign.
The 24-year-old last played against the Clippers, where he put up nine points on 60% shooting, three blocks, one steal, and one assist. His defense and relentlessness have been severely missed on the court.
Overall, Reddish averages 6.7 points on 40.5% shooting, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
This is massive news for the Los Angeles Lakers, as it seems they’ve only received bad news on the injury front lately. Los Angeles has been depleted all season by their role players on the injury front. If it’s not one player, it’s another, or sometimes two.
Health, or lack of it, has played a massive factor in the mediocre year the Lakers have had. Hopefully, the tide will start to turn as 23 games remain.
Reddish has missed the last 14 games for the Purple and Gold. Without him, the Lakers have stayed afloat, going 9-5.
