Brock Purdy has sent a short yet direct message after the San Francisco 49ers lost Super Bowl LVIII to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The second-year quarterback remained quiet after the championship game but it looks like he’s ready to start working for next season.
After playing like the best team in the NFL all season long, the 49ers arrived in Las Vegas ready to get revenge on the Chiefs and become Super Bowl champions for the first time in 29 years.
Everything appeared to be in place for them until the Chiefs told otherwise.
Led by Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City came back to beat the 49ers in a dramatic fashion, clinching the game and the championship in the final seconds of overtime.
Following the game, many players were heartbroken, especially Purdy, who played arguably the best game of that playoff run. The Niners came a long way, but the little details gave the win and the Lombardi Trophy to the Chiefs.

The 49ers were ready to dethrone the Chiefs last season until things started falling apart. Now they’re ready to enter a new league year with some difficult decisions to make regarding some of their stars.
Purdy showed that he belongs to the NFL this season. Next campaign, he’ll be hungrier to conquer the league and finally beat the Chiefs.
